Marina Mattar was Director of Institutional Relations at the Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR) and Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability at the Brazilian Association of Chemical Industry (ABIQUIM). She was executive coordinator of the Parliamentary Chemistry Front (FPQuímica) at the National Congress for more than five years; member of the Leadership Group onEnergy & Climate Change of the International Council on Chemical Associations (ICCA) for four years; she was a member of the Legislative Affairs and Environment and Sustainability councils of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). He also gained experience at BASF (São Paulo), Amnesty International (London), Government of Illinois (Chicago), Instituto Sou da Paz (São Paulo), American Consulate (São Paulo) and UN (New York).

Marina was responsible for two advocacy projects (with candidates for the presidency of the Republic; and FPQuímica) awarded by the Marco Maciel Award for Ethics and Transparency between the Public and Private sectors. She was recently invited by the US government to join the International Visitor Leadership Program (ILVP), which focused on “Transparency and Accountability in Government”.

Graduated and Master in International Relations from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and University of São Paulo (USP), respectively.
